I recently teamed up with Glamour and they created a 10 day style diary.

‘Courtney is a fashion and lifestyle blogger who curates Cee’s Journal. She also owns her own online graphic design business, Courtney Creative. Courtney has a major interest in fashion, art and design and enjoys creating content for her blog.’
I recently visited this small boutique that is based in Claremont, Cape Town on a hot summers day. Nicky and her sales lady, Debbie welcomed me with friendly smiles and gave me the best advice on picking out an outfit, which i used for my 10 day style diary with Glamour Magazine SA. The boutique has a beautiful layout with a lovely airy feel to it.
Nicky Healy Clothing has been around for about 10 years now, starting off very small from her study at home, doing markets, distributing flyers etc. With social media and marketing, it has now helped a great deal in getting her name out there, especially as Nicky is off the beaten track in Constantia!
With its growth and the support of her loyal customer base, she then built on a separate space at home to grow the business into the shop it is now. Nicky travels overseas twice a year, which she enjoys and also supports local designers which allows her to offer a broad range of styles that appeal to everyone.
Nicky stocks ladies clothing and accessories at very competitive prices with new stock arriving regularly. At present, she is open every Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and occasional Saturdays and late night shopping which is advertised via social media. She also hosts various events including a market day with a number of vendors each season.
The black pants (retail at R599) are 100% rayon and are from Slick Clothing, who are Cape Town.
The espadrilles are from a Durban based company, Saint & Summer (retail R699) and Nicky is the only local stockist in my area.
The embroidered floral top (cotton blend) is her own sourced overseas and retails at R520.
